In Kiwingdom, the kings succeeded one another, all as cruel as each other. Some of these kings were also cannibals. They did not only eat kiwis (fruits), but also their own subjects (kiwi birds).
Of course, in order not to depopulate the kingdom, these kings only ate baggers during their kiwis (the fruit) deliveries and only a certain number per day. Those who survived warned their descendants, but another cannibal king had not ascended the throne for ages, so the kiwis (birds) believe it is just a horror story. Unfortunately for them, the king who is currently on the throne doesn't just eat kiwis (fruit). He’s also a cannibal.
Among the baggers’ current generation is Stevehoon. Stevehoon is not a genius, but he’s not deluded. He knows that the past’s warnings are true. He also knows that the king leaves his castle to devour the baggers early in the morning, so he always manages to be among the last baggers, those who deliver to the castle late at night.
Thus Stevenhoon never met the king’s giant crushing jaw, but his luck couldn't last forever. One night, as he delivers his bag full of kiwis, he notices that the baggers in front of him are nervous. Stevenhoon doesn't understand why. It is when he sees the bagger in front of him being eaten by His Majesty that he understands the reason.
"Ma... Majesty..." Said Stevenhoon nervously, as the king's giant jaw closed behind a piece of flesh. "I..."
The king just looks at him.
"Please don't eat me! I am an excellent bagger! See? My bag is full of kiwis!"
"I see that." Replied the sovereign in a nonchalant tone. "But I'm still hungry for a kiwi."
"PLEASE!" Stevenhoon yells. "You can eat anyone else! The kiwi behind me, for example."
The bagger behind him glares at Stevenhoon.
"TRAITOR!" Suddenly shouts His Majesty, before his giant crushing jaw comes down on Stevenhoon's head.
Blood spurts and droplets go onto the next bagger who screams in fear.
This is Stevenhoon’s end.
The kiwis (birds) king returns to his castle.
The kiwis (fruit) delivery continues.
As always.
